YOUR TASKS
- You will create CAD drawings (integration planning, steelwork planning/clearance planning, space planning including the preparation of detail drawings through to the final approval plan) for projects and develop solutions (technical implementation of architectural requirements) in compliance with shipbuilding regulations.
- In doing so, you will work closely with our clients (shipyards, architects/designers, owner representatives) and production (internal & external). You will handle joint quality controls (internal: production quality, drawing review / external: supplier quality, verifying delivery against drawing specifications) and independently clarify all technical details.
- You actively support the project team and execute projects with the team in a timely and high-quality manner. With your technical expertise, you help foster the development of young engineering talent within the team.
- You serve as the interface between project management, clients, production, suppliers, and installation.
- You are responsible for sample review (inspection and documentation of surfaces, requesting samples from designers, approving samples) as well as for all documentation (preparing as-built drawings, providing technical documentation).
- You independently coordinate external engineering teams.
OUR EXPECTATIONS
- You have completed technical training (Master Carpenter, LAP Carpenter, HTL Interior Design, or similar) and can demonstrate many years of relevant experience and in-depth knowledge of the design and engineering of high-quality interior furnishings.
- You are proficient in AutoCAD 2D; knowledge of Rhino 3D and Top Solid Wood is desirable.
- You enjoy working on a variety of projects and, in addition to your strong interpersonal skills, possess excellent communication skills that allow you to serve as a liaison between internal colleagues and external partners.
- You demonstrate strong written and spoken German and English skills.

For this position we offer a salary in line with the market from € 44.000,- gross, depending on skills and experience.
