YOUR TASKS

  • You will be responsible for the worldwide organization of assembly operations, build a high-performing global team and partner networks, and ensure that our projects around the world are implemented to the highest quality standards, on schedule, and with economic success.
  • You will lead the assembly department, with responsibility for workforce planning, resource management, and on-site management.
  • You will develop training, certification, and skill-building programs for installation specialists and integrate these into our talent and professional development initiatives.
  • You will work closely with Engineering, Planning, Purchasing, Project Management, and Logistics to ensure smooth project execution.
  • You support business development and bidding projects through technical consulting, feasibility analyses, time and cost assessments, and risk evaluations.
  • You are responsible for the quality, productivity, on-time delivery, and cost-effectiveness of our international assembly projects.
  • You implement lean and standardization initiatives, as well as KPIs and reporting structures, to manage and optimize performance.
  • You will drive the digitalization of assembly processes and make targeted use of modern systems such as the assembly log, ERP, BIM, and other project and documentation tools.
  • You will ensure the highest standards in occupational safety, environmental protection, quality, ship safety, and compliance at international construction sites.

OUR EXPECTATIONS

  • Several years of leadership experience in the installation of complex interior finishing, yacht, shipbuilding, or comparable high-end projects
  • Technical training or a degree in interior finishing, wood technology, civil engineering, or a comparable qualification, such as a master carpenter certification.
  • In-depth knowledge of installation processes, quality management, safety regulations, and supplier and subcontractor management.
  • A passion for employee development, as well as experience in training, coaching, education, and knowledge transfer
  • You stand out thanks to your strong leadership and communication skills, intercultural competence, assertiveness, and a hands-on approach.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, a high degree of personal responsibility, and a passion for actively developing structures and processes.
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel extensively internationally.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems; ideally, experience with BIM/CAD environments.

For this position, we offer a competitive gross annual salary starting at €76,000, depending on qualifications, experience, and demonstrable achievements, a corresponding higher salary is anticipated.
